Forgings.
The wide selection of forging types: drop, press and upset, enables George Dyke to meet all types of forging requirements. This prevents customers from having to multi source their forgings and so ensures that as their single forgings source, George Dyke can combine their diverse product expectations, with their stringent delivery requirements.
Drop forgings are particularly relevant for components with complex shapes and small volumes.
In contrast, press forgings are more typically used for, simpler shapes and high volumes.
Meanwhile, upset forgings are common for shapes requried on pre-prepared stock.
